Mayhem in the streets of Langaville

The Tsakane South African Police Services (SAPS) dispatched a sector vehicle to attend to a shooting that occurred in Langaville Ext. 4 around 6:15 p.m. on Friday that left two dead and two injured.

A calm Friday evening turned into mayhem at corner of Sezela and Lovu Streets Ext. 4, Langaville, Tsakane when allegedly five African males, armed, started shooting randomly at by-standers. Two men (28 and 30) were declared dead at the scene and two other men were critically injured and were rushed to hospital.

The five suspects allegedly fled the scene on foot.

According to the statement issued by the Tsakane SAPS by Sergeant Lerato Mngomezulu on behalf of Tsakane SAPS Station Commander, Colonel Johannes Maass, “The motive of the shooting is unknown.”
