Ms. Bathabile Moreki, one of the speakers at the Township Business Gala Dinner, is founder & CEO of Township Economic Transformation in Franchise Eco-System Model, as well as Founder of Nothile Consulting. She is a social entrepreneur, multi-franchise owner, business mentor and National Development Plan (NDP) Youth Ambassador.
She is very passionate about developing & empowering young people in entrepreneurship and therefore pioneered Township Economic Transformation through her Franchise Eco-System Model that is designed to transform township based & owned businesses to grow, be sustainable, profitable by providing business support to access markets, funding & capacity building.
At the age of 29 she compiled a business plan with a proper financial forecast on her own which later secured her funding of over one-million rand from National Empowerment Fund (NEF) to start a franchise business, and two years later she became a multi-franchise owner of national brands such as Fishaways, Debonairs & Steers.
As the NDP Youth Ambassador she advocates for more sustainable job creation, and through her business mentorship & other programmes has created more than 70 permanent youth jobs and outsources business services from over 30 other small & big businesses on a monthly basis.
She recently secured assistance from SABS to assist township manufacturers for compliance in testing their products. Furthermore, she is in talks with Coca-Cola to absorb township manufactured & owned products in their upcoming Bizniz-In-A Box Tuck shops.

- She was appointed as one of 100 Women Ambassadors for Ma Sisulu 100 years centenary – Women of Fortitude.
- She was appointed as one of the University of Johannesburg Research Associate on presenting discussion for Township Economic Transformation.
- She was a finalist on 67 CEOs with Exxaro Resources Initiative.
- She was appointed NDP 2030 Vision Youth Ambassador.
She obtained a Bachelor of Technology in Business Administration from the University of Johannesburg.
She will be addressing the topic “Access to markets, compliance and finance” at the Township Business Gala Dinner.
