Another hike on fuel prices

Motorists are urged to fill up their car tanks today as fuel prices are expected to increase at midnight tonight. Petrol is said to go up by 74 cents more per litre, and diesel is expected to increase between 91 and 93 cents more.

According to the Minister of Energy, Jeff Radebe, the increase in prices are due to an increase in international crude oil prices.

The inland price for a litre of 95 octane unleaded petrol will rise to R14,82 cents per litre – with Illuminating Paraffin seeing an increase of 76 cents per litre and the retail price of maximum LPGas Retail will increase by R1,01 cents per litre.
